In the Electrical Circuit Lab students can create their own electrical circuits and do measurements on it. In the circuits the students can use resistors, light bulbs, switches, capacitors and coils. The circuits can be powered by a AC/DC power supply or batteries.

In this lab, you can explore the impedance triangle for a series RLC circuit. The impedance (Z) of the circuit is the hypotenuse of the triangle. The resistance is the horizontal side of the triangle.

See how the equation form of Ohm's law relates to a simple circuit. Adjust the voltage and resistance, and see the current change according to Ohm's law. The sizes of the symbols in the equation change to match the circuit diagram.

Students working in two different ILSs share a simulation of a dollhouse which has been wired with LED lamps and switches to permit lighting various miniature rooms.

Study of mixed, series and parallel association of resistors in DC networks. Components of an electrical circuit or electronic circuit can be connected in many different ways. The two simplest of these are called series and parallel and occur frequently.

Study of associations resistors in series, parallel and mixed in AC networks. Incandescent bulbs replace the resistors in mixed circuit, and the light intensity emitted by each lamp gives a visual feedback of the dissipated power

This lab simulates the transmission of electricity at high voltages, for two different transmission lines.

This simulation allows students to study the factors that affect the resistance of a conductor. Students have the ability to change the material, length, cross-section, and diameter of the conductor and the temperature.
